X-Ray | CT Scans | Ultrasound | Echocardiography | 3D Mammography
X-Ray
X-ray imaging is a fast and commonly used diagnostic tool that creates images of the inside of the body using low-dose radiation. It is especially effective for evaluating bones, joints, and certain soft tissues.
X-rays are often used to diagnose fractures, infections, and lung conditions. Most exams are quick, non-invasive, and require little to no preparation.
CT Scans
CT (Computed Tomography) scans use advanced imaging technology and a series of X-rays to create detailed cross-sectional images of the body. These images provide more information than standard X-rays, allowing providers to see organs, bones, and tissues with greater clarity.
CT scans are used to diagnose a wide range of conditions, including injuries, internal bleeding, and disease processes. Exams are quick and may involve contrast to enhance image detail when ordered by your provider.
Ultrasound
Ultrasound uses sound waves to create real-time images of structures inside the body. This safe, radiation-free technology is commonly used to evaluate organs, soft tissues, and blood flow.
Echocardiography
Echocardiography is a specialized type of ultrasound that focuses on the heart. It uses sound waves to create detailed images of heart structure and function, including chambers, valves, and blood flow.
This exam helps providers evaluate heart health, diagnose conditions, and monitor ongoing cardiac care. It is non-invasive and does not use radiation.
Ultrasound is often used during pregnancy as well as for assessing abdominal organs, the heart, and other areas. Exams are non-invasive and typically comfortable, with results interpreted by a radiologist.
X-rays are often used to diagnose fractures, infections, and lung conditions. Most exams are quick, non-invasive, and require little to no preparation.
3D Mammography
3D mammography is an advanced breast imaging technology that provides detailed images to help detect breast cancer earlier and more accurately. This technology allows radiologists to view breast tissue in thin layers, improving clarity and reducing the need for follow-up imaging.
3D mammography is used as part of routine breast cancer screening and diagnostic evaluation when ordered by your provider.
