Dr. Castrodale arrived at Coulee Medical Center in 1998 and focuses on the complete scope of family medicine with additional fellowship training in obstetrics. He attended the University of Washington for his undergraduate’s degree as well as for Medical School. Dr. Castrodale completed his Family Medicine Residency at the Sacred Heart and Deaconess Hospitals in Spokane.

Dr. Chaffee joined the Coulee Medical Center staff with emphasis on obstetrics, emergency medicine, trauma, cardiovascular disease and diabetes. He was born in Seattle and raised in Arlington. Dr. Chaffee graduated from the University of Washington, served his internship in Spokane and his residency work in Colville. 

Dr. Fercha was born in Constantine, Algeria and has been Chief of Surgery at Coulee Medical Center since 2003. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine Cochin-Royal, France, Academic Renee Descartes University of Paris. Dr. Fercha completed his Surgical Internship at Maryland General Hospital, Baltimore, MD and his Surgical Residency at Good Samaritan Hospital, Cincinnati, OH. He has been Certified by the American Board of Surgery since 1985 and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons since 1991. 

Dr. Skogerson is from southern California and joined the Coulee Medical Center team in March 2012.  He graduated from the University of Guadalajara and completed his residency at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Chicago, IL.  He is board certified.

Dr. Faloon joined the CMC team in July 2012.  He comes to CMC with many years of experience in Spokane.  He graduated from SUNY-Upstate Medical School in Syracuse, NY and he completed his Orthopedic Surgery residency at the University of Pittsburgh.  Additionally, he completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship at Temple University Hospital, a Foot and Ankle Fellowship at Cleveland Clinic Foundation, and a Total Joint Fellowship at Harrington Arthritis Foundation in Phoenix, AZ.  He has been certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery since 1991.

Dr. Meltzer joined the Coulee Medical Center team in July 2012.  He will be splitting his time between Valley OB/GYN in Spokane Valley and CMC.  He spent his childhood in eastern Washington, living in Grand Coulee for a period of time.  Dr. Meltzer attended medical school at East Carolina University and completed his residency at the University of Utah. 

Dawn has a Masters Degree in Nursing as a Certified Nurse Midwife and a post-Masters certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner. While the majority of her practice centers around care of women and children. She also provides family practice and shares in the emergency room call schedule. Dawn has a strong commitment to family centered care, patient education and decision making. Dawn has been at Coulee Medical Center for 10 years and has delivered babies for over 20 years.

Wendy, raised in Wenatchee, WA, received her Masters from WSU and performed her internship here at Coulee Family Medicine. She is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner. Wendy splits her time between Coulee Family Medicine and Coulee City Clinic. 

Karen comes to us from NorthEast Washington Medical Group in Colville, Washington. Karen received her BS in Nursing from Minot State University in Minot, ND in 2000 and her Master of Science, Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Minnesota in 2002. 

Shelly became a part of the Coulee Medical Center healthcare team in May 2012.  Her previous experience includes Family Practice in Richland, working as an independent contractor for Para-Medx, and a mobile clinic on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation.  She received her Associate degree in Nursing from Columbia Basin College and she received both her Bachelors and Masters of Science in Nursing from Washington State University - Tri City campus.  She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Sigma Theta Tau International, and the Columbia River Nurse Practitioner Association.

Sam comes to us from Hoquaim, WA.  After completing her clinical rotations here, she joined the Coulee Medical Center team as a PA-C in August 2011.  Sam graduated from Washington State University in 2008 with a BS in Neuroscience and a BS in Kinesiology.  She went on to receive her Master of Physican Assistant Studies from Rocky Mountain College. 

Dave Brown has been a part of Coulee Medical Center since 1999 providing anesthesiology consults and care. He received his Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Cornell University and his CRNA degree from UCLA Program of Nurse Anesthesia. Dave has been a past Chief Nurse Anesthetist at Deaconess Medical Center, and a Clinical Instructor for UCLA Medical Center.  

Mike Rimpler has been a part of Coulee Medical Center since 1999 providing anesthesiology consults and care. He received his Masters of Science-Biology from Southern Connecticut State University and his Board Certification in Anesthesia from Bridgeport Hospital Nurse Anesthesia Program. His anesthesia practice has included Open Heart Surgery, Trauma, High Risk Obstetrics, Pediatrics, Regional, Vascular, Thoracic, Neuro and Ambulatory Surgery.
